Address: Vinh Thanh commune, Phu Vang district

Located at the center of Ha Thanh village, Ha Thanh village hall was constructed under the reign of Nguyen Lord. Its construction process was associated with the establishment of Ha Thanh village, which marked the expansion of Dang Trong (the south Vietnam) in the late 16th century. During the resistance against French and American invaders, patriotic activities were carried out in Ha Thanh village hall and the surrounding areas.

This village hall was not only a place of worship, but also the location for meetings and social gatherings. Its was considered as a part of local life as it promoted the solidarity among people in national development and protection. Its significant role was proven in the resistance against French and American invaders when Ha Thanh villagers made contribution to national victory. Typical historical and cultural values considered, Ha Thanh village hall is a great example for the system of village halls in Thua Thien Hue province. Furthermore, it plays a considerable role in traditional folk cultural institution, an unreplaceable part in Hue religious and folk culture.

Every year, several cultural, religious activities and festivals are held in the village hall to pay tribute to forerunners, preserve traditional cultural values and uphold national pride. Activities imbued with both traditional and historical cultural identity contribute to successfully implement the guidelines of the Party and State in building solidarity, tightening patriotism and revolutional tradition on the basis of inheriting and promoting local cultural values.

Ha Thanh village hall was recognized as a province-level historical relic by the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province on Decision No. 709/QD-UBND dated March 21, 2024.
