    Address: Mai Thuc Loan - Le Thanh Tong intersection, Thuan Loc ward, Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province When French had Hue streets planned and adjusted in 1895, the remains of hundreds of people passed away in the Fall of Hue Citadel (July 5, 1885) were found in Citadel, especially Phu Van lake (today Am Hon Shrine). To commemorate those who lost their lives for nation, people contributed to constructing Am Hon Shrine (Shrine for The Death). Every year, the grand offering ceremony is solemnly held in accordance with Hue traditional rituals on May 23rd.

Originally, Ben da was only a small land which protruded into the river. It was the place where locals often dropped by and washed their hands after working on the field. Ben da is located in the land of Nguyen Si Do’s father who built a family bathing site in the area.
