Provincial leaders offer incense at Hue city Martyr Cemetery

(TTH Portals) - Marking the 77th anniversary of Martyr and Invalids Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), a flower and incense offering ceremony was solemnly held at Hue city’s Martyr Cemetery by the Party Committee, People’s Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thua Thien Hue province. Mr. Le Truong Luu – the member of the Party's Central Executive Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council, Head of Thua Thien Hue National Assembly delegation; the standing members of the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of departments, agencies, organizations, armed forces of Thua Thien Hue province attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, provincial leader rang Hoa Binh bell tower to pray for peace and happiness, placed wreaths of flower, offered incense to commemorate martyrs and invalids who lost their lives for national independence and freedom.  


Delegates spend one minute of silence to commemorate heroic martyrs

In solemn atmosphere, delegates showed their respect and sincere gratitude to heroic martyrs, spent one minute of silence to pay tribute to heroic martyrs across the country who sacrificed for national independence and people’s happiness. Having spent one minute of silence, delegates laid incense on martyrs' graves.

At Hue city martyr cemetery, there are over 2.000 graves of country-wide heroic martyrs who lost their lives for national independence and people’s happiness.
