On July 16, 2024, national excellent young badminton players tournament, Donex Cup 2024 was kicked off at Thua Thien Hue Sports Center. The event was successfully held, kicking off a promising and exciting tournament.
This year event attracted more than 400 young talents from 29 provinces and cities across the country. Athletes aged from 6 to 18 will compete in 5 categories i.e. men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
Through this tournament, Vietnam Badminton Federation and professional council may check and assess badminton movement at localities; find and support young talent; have extensive orientation on improving national badminton quality.
After the opening ceremony, the tournament took place at Thua Thien Hue Sports Center from July 15 to July 21.
National excellent young badminton players tournament, Donex Cup 2024 is an opportunity for young excellent talents who are selected from national badminton tournaments previously held. With leading young talents, the tournament is expected to bring exciting matches.
