Located at B45a road, Hong Van commune, A Luoi district, Thua Thien Hue province, Km0 is a historic relic. During the resistance against American Imperialism, this area was attacked to stop the support given to the battlefield and the preparation for spring 1975 uprising.

Km0 - B45a road holds typical historical values and important meaning. It associates with places whose names were recorded in national history such as battles, battlefields, particularly Doc Con Meo which was attacked by the enemy to stop our residents and soldiers without success. This place marked victories and the sacrifice of 559 Group - Truong Son soldiers, voluntary youth, workers and frontline forces who tried their best to construct and protect road B45a, Km0 to ensure transportation and provide support to the south Vietnam during the resitance.

Km0 - B45a road also witnessed great examples of heroic people who lost their lives and worked hard to construct and protect road B45a. With slogans “Danh dich ma di, mo duong ma tien” and “Song bam duong, chet kien cuong dung cam”, they lost their lives and youth to protect the road. Thanks to this strong spirit, 559 Group - Truong Son soldiers always ensured transportation, timely delivered support to the battlefield and contribute to national liberation.

Km0 - B45A provides generations valuable documents to learn about Ho Chi Minh road in general and B45A road in particular; contributes to educating young generations of revolutionary tradition, patriotism of ancestors who sacrificed all their youth and lives for peace and prosperity of coming generations.

Km0 - B45A was recognized as a special national relic on Decision No. 2383/QD-TTg on 09/12/2013.
