    Thuy Lap communal house was constructed in mid 19th century. Despite its limited area, the structure has been together with the development of the village. It is the place to worship and commemorate the village founders. Cultural activities and festivities are also held in the communal house to tighten social relations as well as to protect and develop the village.

    Hoi Mit is a separated village located in the south west of Lang Co townlet, about 2km to the north of Lang Co station, 8km to the south of Nuoc Ngot station. The village has curved railway, cliff and a large system of lagoon. It is 103km from Hue to Danang. The train goes through tunnels numbered from 7 to 13 and Se tunnel.

    Hien Sy is one of the villages early founded in Thuan Hoa. Over ups and downs, the village still preserves Vietnamese cultural features. The communal house plays an important role in villagers. It is the place for villagers to pay tribute to ancestors who established and protected the country. Residents not only come to pray for their ancestors and happiness, but also gather together for village’s cultural activities. It connects present and the past as well as creates a close-knit relation between villagers and the community. In addition to festivals, activities associated with “Uong nuoc nho nguon”, “An qua nho nguoi trong cay” were held at the communal house every year.
