Under the theme “Rang ngoi sac sen” (shining lotus), Dong Thap lotus festival will take place on the 134th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024).
Location: Van Mieu park, Cao Lanh city, Dong Thap province
Dong Thap lotus will be introduced to far and near visitors via exhibitions, competitions, lotus-based specialties, gifts, souvenirs, etc.
A large number of exciting activities will be organized on the second season, for example, the opening ceremony, workshop on enhancing the value chain of lotus-related sector in Dong Thap province; trekking at Tram Chim on lotus season; lotus experience tour; photo, painting and ceramic exhibition themed Dong Thap’s lotus; art competition and lotus fashion; lotus-based dish competition; music and poetry night; lantern (lotus-shaped lantern) floating; lotus-related value chain and OCOP product exhibition; lotus carnival and “Giai dieu tuoi tre dat sen hong” (youth melody in lotus home village) art program.
