Location: Dinh Co, Mo Co historical and cultural site, Long Hai townlet, Long Dien district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province
Dinh Co Long Hai traditional festival, Long Dien district is one of the biggest festivals of fishermen in southern area. It aims to pray for peace and favorable fishing season.
This year, Long Vi greeting bridge (spirit bridge) will be arranged to welcome the Goddesh from the sea and then take the Goddesh to Dinh Co historical and cultural site.
In addition, many cultural, art activities and sporting events will be organized such as an art program in which the establishment history of Dinh Co, Mo Co historical and cultural site was recreated and a “don ca tai tu” (chamber music of Southern Vietnam) music program.
Besides, a number of folk games will take place, for example, net knitting, net tying, beach stilt walking, kite-flying, etc. Especially, a province-level beach volleyball competition will be held, attracting far and near athletes.
