The 11th South Traditional Cake Festival 2024 themed “Dam da huong vi Phuong Nam” (Delicious flavors of the South) will be organized from April 17 to April 21, 2024 (from the 9th day to the 13th day of the third lunar month) at Binh Thuy district’s square (Binh Thuy ward, Binh Thuy district, Can Tho city).

The South Traditional Cake Festival is held to conserve and promote values of Vietnamese cuisine as well as southern traditional cakes. This event attracts over 100 artisans across the country to maintain, preserve and further promote values of South traditional cakes, create a unique brand and national identity. To continue to preserve and promote values of traditional cakes, the 11th South traditional cake festival 2024 is expected to bring south traditional cakes to everyone and international market.
This year, there are about 250 stalls in which traditional cakes, OCOP products and typical products produced by units, businesses, establishment and artisans from districts across Can Tho city and country-wide localities are introduced. In addition, other festivities taking place within the framework of the event such as traditional cake making contest, cake making performance and cake display will definitely bring visitors a chance to learn more about cuisine and culture.
