Location: Keo Pagoda, the ancient place of worship built nearly 400 years ago is located at Duy Nhat commune (Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province).
The Keo Pagoda – Autumn Festival will take place in 8 days from October 12 to October 19, 2024 (the tenth day to the seventh day of the ninth lunar month). There are traditional ceremonies such as Buddha procession, offering ceremony, spirit medium performance, and activities like cheo singing, water puppet, making phoenix wing betel quids, duck-catching game, marital arts,
Activities will be held at night during the festive time. Particularly, the open ceremony to be organized at 7:00 PM on October 12, 2024 (the tenth day of the ninth lunar month) will be live on television.
In addition to Keo pagoda festival, the district will also introduce OCOP products, local main products at a 150-booth fair. A culinary festival will also be held.
