Ben Ngu market is located by the An Cuu river, at the corner of Phan Dinh Phung and Phan Boi Chau street. This location formerly belongs to Tay Huong hamlet, Duong Xuan Ha village (Vinh Ninh ward today).
By 1975, there was a temple where placed a god stele in Tay Huong hamlet. The temple was destroyed and the god stele was taken home by a local living nearby.
