On March 28, an international on medical emergency in Vietnam was held by the Ministry of Health, Hue Central Hospital, national Universities of Medicine, and world medical organizations in Hue City.
At the workshop, doctors of World Medical Emergency Association, Vietnamese doctors, and leading emergency experts of national Universities of Medicine addressed presentations about current medical emergency achievements in Vietnam and some world advanced countries as well as shortcomings and difficulties of medical emergency tasks in all provinces, cities, and big hospitals of Vietnam.
Developing a medical emergency system following professionalization and modernization is currently an urgent need. The system of hospitals from the Central to localities and the whole health industry need to try their best and have an agreement, officially recognize the career of emergency medical technician, build specialized regulations, give technicians practical instructions, establish professional medical emergency training centers in order to satisfy people’s needs.
