Lebadang Memory Space - a masterpiece in Hue

Lebadang Memory Space (Kim Son hamlet, Thuy Bang commune, Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province) was recognized as provincial tourist attraction on Decision No. 1923/QD-UBND dated August 3rd, 2021 of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province.

At the middle of the forest locates a huge structure constructed in black, grey and white. The 16.000m2 building is considered as an actual size artwork. It is an ideal destination for art lovers and those admiring Le Ba Dang who was considered as the master of east-west fine arts. Stunning photo spots available make Lebadang Memory Space a must-visit destination for any tourists coming to this ancient Capital.

Located at Kim Son hamlet (Thuy Bang commune, Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province), about 10km from Hue city, Le Ba Dang Memory Space is pretty near other famous tourist attractions such as Khai Dinh tomb, Guan Yin Buddha statue and Hue Nam temple. It is the place where a large number of artworks created in various themes and materials (oil paint, water color, ceramic, bronze, steel, wood, synthetic material, ect) by Le Ba Dang are being on display. Paintings, sculptures, "space" and installation artworks exhibited in international standard are frequently changed.

Its main space is a three-storey solidly-built structure where hundreds of paper-cutting products, sculptures, oil paintings, installation artworks are exhibited. What makes Lebadang Memory Space special is the skylight allowing natural light to enter the inner space. On its top locates a three-dimensional sculpture.

Reflective force-bearing glass which is able to balance light and block UV rays is installed at the 50m-long underground exhibiting space where photos showing Le Ba Dang's life, career and art are exhibited. Cafe and restaurant corner at Lebadang Memory Space

These days, Lebadang Memory Space has become a well-known destination in Hue city. Lebadang Memory Space is open for visitors from 8:00 to 12:00 in the morning and from 2:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon everyday except Monday.
