(TTH Portals) – On November 30, 2024, Thua Thien Hue Tourism Department, Hue Railways and Hong Ha Foreign Travel Company welcomed Chinese tourists travelling on trans-Vietnam charter train to Hue.
The welcome program was held to create favorable condition and leave good impression on tourists travelling on trans-Vietnam charter train. In Hue city, they will stay from November 11 to December 1, 2024.
At the event, the leader of Tourism Department, Center of Tourism Program Center and relevant departments presented flower and gifts to over 400 visitors. The charter train SE10 from Lao Cai province had traveled to many localities across Vietnam before arriving at Hue train station at 1:20 PM on November 30, 2024. Visitors expressed their pleasure and was moved by the warm and impressive welcome.

Thua Thien Hue’s Tourism Department also provided information, introduced Hue Monuments Complex, tangible and intangible cultural heritages, well-known places of interest, food and tourism products which are appropriate with Chinese tourists.
During the year, Vietnam railways cooperated with travel agents to organize 16 charter trains with 7.000 visitors. In the coming time, local tourism will cooperate with relevant units to attract foreign visitors to Vietnam in general and Thua Thien Hue in particular.
