Address: Phu Duong commune, Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province
Ben da relic is located by Pho Loi river about 10m away from Uncle Ho Memorial House at Duong No village. Originally, Ben da was only a small land which protruded into the river. It was the place where locals often dropped by and washed their hands after working on the field. Ben da is located in the land of Nguyen Si Do’s father who built a family bathing site in the area.
In 1898, Uncle Ho (known as Nguyen Sinh Cung at the time) and his father moved to Duong No village. Uncle Ho used to do the laundry and have a rest at Ben da. Therefore, the rustic relic was imbued with Nguyen Sinh Cung during two years he lived in Duong No village. In 1978, Ho Chi Minh Museum had Uncle Ho Memorial House and Ben da renovated and conserved.
Ho Chi Minh memorial relic at Ben da was recognized as province-level relic in Decision No. 2462/QD-UBND dated October 28th, 2008.
