II. Position and functions:
- The Office of the People's Committee is a specialized agency which directly assists the PPC.
- The Office is in charge of assisting the People's Committee to co-ordinate activities of all province-level departments and branches (generally called as departments), towns and districts; performing consultancy work and assisting the People's Committee and Party Committee to direct and manage local activities; ensuring material and technical conditions for activities of the eople's Committee and Party Committee Chairman.
- Office of People's Committee has legal status, its own seal and account at State Treasury.
