Vegetarian Food Festival opened - Hue Festival 2024

(TTH Portals) - On June 8, 2024, the Vegetarian Food Festival was co-organized by the Social Charity Committee - the Buddhist Sangha of Thua Thien Hue province, Hue Festival Organizing Committee, Tourism Department, Thua Thien Hue Tourism Association, businesses, restaurants and hotels across the province. The event is a part of Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024. The Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong; the Standing member of the provincial Party Committee, Vice Permanent Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, the head of Hue Festival 2024 Organizer Nguyen Thanh Binh; members of the Standing Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the People’s Council, People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thua Thien Hue province, the representatives of relevant departments and agencies attended the event.

Organized at Nghinh Luong Dinh from June 8 to June 9, 2024, Vegetarian Food Festival 2024 will bring audiences and visitors an interesting experience of Hue vegetarian food. This year festival brought together 71 vegetarian dishes from 36 stalls of 45 units including hotels, restaurants and pagodas across the province. Hue Vegetarian Food Festival brings visitors and audiences a unique experience.

According to the organizer, various kinds of food brought by units, businesses and sponsors. Each dish is not only tasty, eye-catching, but also rich in local culture and art. Through this festival, the organizer hoped to make contribution to defining the position of Hue - a center for culture and tourism in Central Vietnam and across the country.

The Organizer hoped to leave a memorable impression on audiences and attract a large number of visitors.

Vegetarian Food Festival - Hue Festival 2024 is not only an occasion to introduce local vegetarian cuisine, but also an opportunity to join hand in social charity. Contributions made and revenue earned from the event are expected to help people from disadvantaged background.

As a combination of cooking and exhibiting, audiences and visitors attending Vegetarian Food Festival have a chance to enjoy unique nutritious dishes which are elegantly decorated.
