(TTH Portals) - On July 16, 2023, the first children skill camp 2023 in Central Highlands was kicked off at Bia Quoc hoc (Hue city). The Standing member of the provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Hue city’s Party Committee, Chairman of Hue city’s People’s Council Phan Thien Dinh, the leaders of Hue city’s People’s Committee, leaders of children’s activity centers from provinces and cities attended the ceremony.
The event hosted by Hue city’s children center attracted 11 provinces/cities and 12 children delegations from Ho Chi Minh city, Kien Giang, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Kon Tum, Lam Dong and Thua Thien Hue province.
The skill training camp was an occasion for children to meet, show their personal and team work skills. It also strengthened the solidarity and friendliness in children center system. Those in charge of children centers had a chance to share lessons learned.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice Chairman of Hue city’s People’s Committee Truong Dinh Hanh kindly informed that the Party and State as well as the entire society had paid special attention to caring and educating children. In the past time, leaders and localities across the country in general and Hue city in particular have always concerned and instructed competent agencies to create the most favorable condition for children to study, practice and play in a healthy education environment.
The skill camp was a major children event held in a joyful, united, enthusiastic and lively manner. It allowed Hue city to introduce a playground for children from central highlands area as well as across the country. It was expected that children would get more experience, exchange skills and make friend in a friendly and positive environment. On this occasion, the event helped introduce Hue culture and locals, celebrate the four season festival and make contribution to developing Hue into the festival city of Vietnam.
