II. Positions and Functions:
- Department of Education and Training is a specialized agency under supervision of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC); functioning as the state management agency on education and training, including targets, program, and contents of education and training, standards of teachers and educational management staff, standards of material facilities, school equipment, and children’s toys, regulations on examinations and certificate issue, and public services under Department’s management.
- Department of Education and Training has legal status, its own seal and account, and is under guidance and management on organization and personnel of the PPC as well as specialized guidance and inspection of Ministry of Education and Training.
