“Hue Symphony - ban giao huong Hue” program combines classical symphonic music and EDM music. “Binh - Tri - Thien” songs are remade in semi-classical style while Hue royal court music is renewed in symphonic style. Songs written by musician Trinh Cong Son - a talented Hue artist are performed in a lively and contemporary way. These are efforts made to spread and introduce Hue and its cultural values.
The program is divided into 4 parts:
- “Co dien duong dai” (contemporary classical music): The classical music space is created through masterpieces and EDM music.
- “Khuc hao hung Binh Tri Thien” (the heroic songs of Binh Tri Thien): Artworks describing the heyday of Binh Tri Thien via semi classical music are performed.
- “Ban giao huong Co Do” (the symphony of the ancient capital): This part brings together Hue traditional music, Hue royal court music, songs written about Hue in a young and contemporary style. It is expected to bring audiences a new experience via familiar songs.
- “Hue va Trinh” brings Vietnamese famous songs. Particularly, Japanese artists will also join in performance.
