On September 20, 2023, Zhishan Foundation’s scholarship were awarded to students from difficult background at a ceremony co-held by Zhishan Foundation, Social Affairs Center, Children Protection Fund and Huong Tra town’s Labor-Invalids and Social Affairs Division. Ms. Tran Thi Thai Hoa, Vice Director of Children Protection Fund, Mr. Dao Van Dai, Deputy Head of Huong Tra town’s Labor-Invalids and Social Affairs Division and the representative of Zhishan Foundation attended the event.
This time, Zhishan Foundation awarded 90 scholarships. There were 62 scholarships (VND 600.000 each) and 28 scholarships (VND 800.000 each). They are given to students studying at primary schools, secondary schools and high schools across Huong Tra town.
To timely encourage students to study well, sponsors presented prizes to 05 students winning awards in excellent student contests, VND 100.000 to good students and VND 150.000 to very good students. Those recently enrolled in high school received VND 500.000. The total expense was over VND 70 million.
Scholarship awarded showed efforts made by Zhishan Foundation to help disadvantaged students overcome difficulties and have better studying results. Zhishan made commitment to accompany students who maintain their studying result until finishing university, college or vocational training.
