(TTH Portals) - On September 15th, a delegation from Sekong province - Laos headed by the member of Laos People’s Revolutionary Party, Secretary cum Governor Leklay Sivilay had a courtesy meeting with leader of Thua Thien Hue province. Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong received delegates. Leader representatives of relevant departments and agencies also attended the reception.
At the meeting, Governor Leklay Sivilay extended his pleasure to observe fruitful results achieved in bilateral friendship, particularly the affection that Thua Thien Hue province shows to Se Kong province. The Governor of Se Kong province hoped that the two localities will further cooperate and strengthen special solidarity.
Mr. Leklay Sivilay kindly suggested Thua Thien Hue support residents living in border area and border guard force; create favorable condition for locals, businesses and investors to exchange goods in the coming time.
Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong affirmed that this high level business trip played a meaningful and important role. On this occasion, leaders of the two provinces may exchange essential issues to accelerate bilateral cooperation.
With considerable results achieved, the leader of Thua Thien Hue province emphasized the importance of further cooperation in politics, diplomacy, security, national defense, border, border gate, economy, culture, education, health, etc in the coming time. The provincial leader believed that these efforts would tighten the special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general as well as Thua Thien Hue and Sekong in particular.
