On May 30th, 2023, the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province Nguyen Van Phuong visited religious organizations in Hue city on the 2567th Buddha's birthday 2023.
On his visit, Chairman Nguyen Van Phuong wished dignitaries, nuns, monks and Buddhist followers a peaceful and happy Buddha's birthday. In addition, the provincial leader acknowledged and highly appreciated their contribution in the past time. Chairman affirmed that the province would care, respect and ensure that everyone has the right to freedom of religion and belief; make sure that religious activities are carried out as regulated; create favorable condition for them to well perform their role as religious dignitaries and citizens.
Venerable acknowledged and extended sincere thank to leaders of departments, agencies, organizations and localities for creating favorable condition for religious activities to be held for the right purpose, following local regulations.
In addition, Venerable affirmed that Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Thua Thien Hue province will accompany and stay unite to develop country. Also, provincial Buddhist Sangha will instruct monks, nuns and followers to strictly comply with directives of the Party and the State, contributing to accelerating local economic growth and ensuring social security.
