Su Lo is a village in Phu Ho commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province. Located about 15km to the South East of Hue city, it is one of the ancient villages early founded (1558).

People living in Su Lo village in particular and Phu Ho commune in general has a time-honored tradition of struggling against invaders. During the resistance against French colonialism and American empire, this tradition was upheld. The battle against French colonialism in Su Lo military base in March 1947 is an example. It was the start of continuous victories such as Vo Xa (July 1947), Ha Thanh (1949) and Thanh Lam Bo (July 1951). These successes motivated Thua Thien Hue's locals in the resistance against French colonialism.
