Thua Thien Hue Women Union present gifts to children on Tet holiday
Reducing the proportion of victims to child labor abuse is one of the objectives established at the launching ceremony of the project on preventing minors from migrating unaccompanied for work and child labor abuse in 2020-2023 period organized by Thua Thien Hue Women Union and Blue Dragon Foundation on July 22.

In 2018-2019 stage, billions dong were spent on helping 3 early drop-outs for work to come back home, offering school tuition fee for hundreds of students, granting livelihood loans and presenting gifts to beneficiaries in 14 communes of Phu Vang and Phu Loc district. 

In 2020-2023 stage, the project aims to ensure three main objectives. Firstly, it is to ensure the safety of children who are victims to child labor abuse and potential victims. The second goal is to help provincial leaders, localities and community to enhance their skills and capacity for preventing minors from migrating unaccompanied for work. Creating a healthy environment for children and a safe community is the third objective of the project.

The project will be deployed in 22 communes of Phu Vang and Phu Loc district with the total expense of VND 2,7 billion.
