At the launching ceremony, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh presents gifts to people from disadvantaged background
On June 6th, "Chu nhat vi cong dong" (Community Sunday) program was launched in An Tay ward, Hue city. The program was kicked off by a cultured and green model built at 103 Thien Thai street, Group 10, An Tay ward, Hue city. Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, the Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee, the Secretary of Hue city's Party Committee; Mr. Hoang Tan Ninh, the Standing Member of Hue city's Party Committee, the Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hue city; Ms. Duong Thi Thu Thuy, the Standing Member of Hue city's Party Committee, the Head of Mass Mobilisation Commission - Hue city's Party Committee.

First launched in An Tay ward, community Sunday will be widely spread across the city in the coming time. It aims to not only continue the "Green Sunday" movement, but also encourage locals to join hand for a civilized and modern urban area along with voluntary activities such as tree planting, humanitarian works, charity works, helping the poor, the elderly and people with meritorious services to the revolution, etc.
By building the green model, An Tay hoped to create a public space, attracting locals to relax and exercise. It is also expected to be a "Bright - green - clean - beautiful - joyful - healthy - safe" destination, contributing to enhancing urban landscape and lifestyle.
At the event, An Tay ward received VND 50 million from Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hue city, announced the establishment decision and introduced the management team of the green destination. Gifts were also presented to 10 people from disadvantaged background.
