The People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province recently passed Decision No. 56/QD-UBND on recognizing A Rum (A Luoi townlet, A Luoi district) as province's traditional craft village. This Decision is valid from January 11th, 2021.

Deng weaving is a traditional craft of Ta oi ethnic group. This unique long-lasting cultural product has been passed on from generation to generation. Traditionally, natural cotton yarn and colors are used. Unlike other places where patterns on brocades are formed by colorful threads only, beautiful products of Deng weaving are formed by adding beads directly.
