(TTH Portals) - On January 11, the deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Vice Permanent Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province Nguyen Thanh Binh received the Consul General of the People's Republic of China to Da Nang city Dong Bich Du. The representatives of relevant departments and agencies also attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh extended his pleasure to receive Ms. Dong Bich Du, the Consul General of China in Danang city to Thua Thien Hue province. According to the provincial leader, China and Vietnam shared many culture in common. Both countries celebrate lunar new year. The Consul General’s visit was believed to establish a close relation between the two countries.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh kindly informed the Consul General about local advantages and potentials. Accordingly, Thua Thien Hue is a country-wide center for culture, tourism, science, technology, healthcare, multi-cultural education and training. At present, Thua Thien Hue is focusing on human resource, called for the participation of the entire political system in developing Thua Thien Hue province into a centrally-managed city. Vice Permanent Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh hoped that Ms. Dong Bich Du will further accelerate Vietnam - China cooperative relation in general, Thua Thien Hue - China localities in particular in the coming time. Thua Thien Hue will create every favorable condition for enterprises to eye investment and cooperation opportunies. Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh expected the friendly cooperative relation between the two provinces and countries will be further strengthened. On lunar new year occasion, Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh wished the Consul General health, happiness and success.
The Consul General of China in Danang city extended her sincere thank to the leader of Thua Thien Hue province for the warm welcome. Ms. Dong Bich Du kindly informed that China - Vietnam relation will be maintained and developed. The Consul General highly appreciated socio-economic development and education of Thua Thien Hue province in the past time. Particularly, Thua Thien Hue well prevented Covid-19 pandemic, developed society and economy.
Ms. Dong Bich Du hoped that this visit would better contribute to promoting the relation between the Consul General and Thua Thien Hue province as well as that between Vietnam and China. The Consul General will promote cooperation programs between Thua Thien Hue and Chinese enterprises as well as investors, make contribution to establishing the friendly cooperative relation between the Party, States and citizens of the two countries. The leader of the Consulate General of China in Danang city hoped to see practical activities held between the Consulate General of China in Danang city and Thua Thien Hue province. This was aimed to contribute to strengthening the cooperative relation between China and Vietnam in general and between localities in particular. The Consulate General of China in Danang city Dong Bich Du hoped the provincial leader and citizens of Thua Thien Hue province a happy new year and success. The Consul General hoped that Thua Thien Hue will become a centrally managed city in the time to come.
