Traditional festivals are held in Guol house, which contributed to enhancing spiritual and material life of ethnic minority groups
On December 3, 2019, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province passed the policy of the project on conserving Co Tu ethnic minority group's traditional village (Nam Dong district, Thua Thien Hue province). The total project funding is VND 8 billion.

Accordingly, the project aims to build, conserve and renovate architectures and infrastructure; collect artifacts; recreate cultural activities and festivals; organize traditional festivals and exploit traditional cultural values of Co Tu ethnic minority group that are connected with community tourism in Nam Dong district.

The project will focus on upgrading and conserving the traditional Guol house. As planned, the 2 Guol houses located in Doi hamlet, Thuong Lo commune and No. 2 hamlet, Thuong Long commune respectively will be renovated. In its second phase, a 350m2 traditional Guol house will be constructed for exhibition. Also, the Guol house in Doi hamlet, Thuong Lo commune will be upgraded for sightseeing. Artifacts will be collected and exhibited. Typical cultural activities and festivals of Co Tu ethnic minority group will be recreated.
