On January 7th, 2023, the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province issued decision No. 77/QD-UBND on receiving the non-refundable aid of VND 2.765.080.000 (two billion, seven hundred sixty-five million, eighty hundred dong) sponsored by the United Nation Development Program (UNDP). This amount is excluded from the grant of the non-project called “Tiep nhan 06 xe dien bon banh chuyen dung thu gom rac” (receiving 06 electric four-wheelers vehicles).
With a view to gradually replace rudimental vehicles and combustion engine trucks with electric four-wheelers vehicles, the project will pilot electric four-wheelers vehicles. This is aimed to reducing the burden on environment workers, ensuring environmental hygience, traffic safety and city order. At the same time, it is expected to help Hue city better collect waste and classify waste at source. Accordingly, UNDP will provide Hue city with 06 electric four-wheeler vehicles as non-refundable aid.
It is clearly stated in this decision that the People’s Committee of Hue city receive and implement the non-refundable aid as regulated.
