To introduce traditional cultural identity, advertise local products and dishes to consumers and visitors here and there, Nam Dong Sunday market will be officially held on March 26, 2023.
Held at the district’s culture house, Nam Dong Sunday market brought together 15 booths. Each commune/townlet is in charge of one booth while organizations/agencies prepared 5 booths where local agricultural products, specalities, OCOP products, wooden products, brocade and souvenirs are on display. Products on display should have clear origin, be high quality and consistently priced.
Joining in Nam Dong Sunday market, locals particularly those from ethnic minority groups will understand more about the meaning and importance of goods exchange, have better income, improve their living standard and contribute to sustainable poverty alleviation. In addition, it creates a new tourism product, a fantastic destination as well as promotes tourism development. Nam Dong Sunday market will be officially opened on March 26, 2023. After that, it will be regularly held at weekend, especially April 30 - May 1, 2023 holiday occasion.
