Delegates experience hop-on-hop-off bus and enjoy Hue city night sightseeing tour
With a view to introduce tourist destinations in Central Vietnam in general and Thua Thien Hue province in particular to international travel agents as well as accelerate international tourism after being affected by Covid-19 pandemic, Thua Thien Hue Tourism Information and Promotion Center and Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company welcomed Indian presstrip delegation to Hue from September 19th, 2022 to September 20th, 2022.

It was an opportunity to introduce local tourism products to Indian tourists. Travel agents also had a chance to advertise their tourism services and products.

Fifteen delegates represented for Indian press and communication agencies such as The Times of India, Business Standard, Outlook Traveller, Aviation Times, Business Today, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar,, India Today, Navbharat Times, Dainik Bhaskar, Amar Ujala, Business World, etc.

During the time that the delegation stayed in Hue (two days and one night), delegates had a chance to discover historical sites, architecture and tourist destinations such as Hue Citadel, Thien Mu pagoda, Khai Dinh tomb, Tu Duc tomb, Thuy Xuan insence village, etc. Delegates also experienced traditional costumes, cyclo, Hue cuisine, vegetarian cuisine, sunset on Tam Giang lagoon, sunrise on the Huong river, Hue sightseeing tour on double-decker bus

Receiving the delegation, the Director of Tourism Department Nguyen Van Phuc extended his pleasure to welcome Indian presstrip delegation to visit and carry out survey in Central Vietnam's localities and Thua Thien Hue province - a center for culture and tourism in Vietnam.

As informed by Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, the province is now open to international tourists and making efforts to recover and accelerate local tourism. The Director of Tourism Department expected the delegation to provide tourism information, introduce Thua Thien Hue - a safe and hospitable destination, local culture and people to the public, Indian travel agents and investors.
