Ho Viet Duc is an excellent student studying in Quoc Hoc Hue Gifted High School
Recently, a 12th grader of Quoc Hoc Hue Gifted High School called Ho Viet Duc excellently won the gold medal in the 31st International Biology Olympiad (IBO) hosted by Japan.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the event was held in form of a remote access exam. In Vietnam, contestants competed in Hanoi city and were monitored by the Organizer via real-time camera system.

The gold medal winner Ho Viet Duc is an excellent student who achieved prizes in province-level and national contests. In 2017 - 2018 school year, Viet Duc got the gold medal at an Olympiad for gifted students in North Central Coast. Later, he was awarded the first prize in a provincial contest and the second prize in a national contest. Particularly, Ho Viet Duc won the first prize in biology in the national excellent student competition in 2019 - 2020 academic year. 

So far, Quoc Hoc Hue Gifted High School has received two IBO gold medals.
