On June 4th, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy solemnly organized the review ceremony of “Joint capacity building in biomedical higher education through adopting international academic standards and transferring technology between European and Vietnam universities – EDUSHARE” project and scientific workshop.

EDUSHARE project has been deployed in Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy since 2016 and attracted several partners. During 3 years, various activities were held. Country-wide learners and Ph.D students joined in the training course under the instruction of professors from Tarty University (Estonia), Greifswald University (the Federal Republic of Germany), Essex University (England) and Karolinska University (Switzerland).

The project provided short-term courses taught by professors from European universities in member programs in Vietnam, especially Ha Noi University of Medicine and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Besides, many short-term lecturer exchange programs aimed to enhance teaching and science research capacity were also held.

In Vietnam, the training course deployed by Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy attracted experts from European universities and institutes. At present, there are 19 Ph.D students from country-wide institutions joining in the project.

The project aims to enhance teaching capacity and the infrastructure serving medical research in Vietnamese institutions through teaching skill training and technique support. In addition, it aims to improve the quality of Vietnamese training institutions and build high quality interdisciplinary Ph.D training program on bio-medicine.
