Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street will be officially opened at 7:00 PM, Sunday March 26, 2023. This new route is opened from 6:00 PM to 0:00 AM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street is a combination of available commercial facilities and private-owned services. It offers a bustling street as well as a space for cultural activities and street music, meeting local amusement demand at night. Besides, craft products, country-wide specialties, particularly those made in Hue city are introduced at a public commercial space.
With modern lightning idea and 3D mapping technology, there are two “check-in” locations in Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street. They are the nine-storey building which is the headquarters of VNPT and Cinestar movie theater. The former represents for bustling commercial area while the later symbolizes an entertaining pedestrian street.
After the opening ceremony, “Le hoi Chao he Hue 2023” carnival will be organized. Two hundred artists wearing traditional costumes of countries such as Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Vietnam, etc will perform and join the parade in Hai Ba Trung street.
