The ceremony commemorating the patrons of all crafts and procession honoring crafts held in Hue city

On April 29th, the Organizer of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019 organized a ceremony to commemorate the patrons of all crafts and a procession to honor Vietnamese artisans and traditional crafts. These are meaningful activities solemnly held on Hue Traditional Craft Festival seasons to pay tribute to the ancestors and patrons of crafts.

Attending the ceremony were leaders of Hue city, the representatives of 62 craft villages joining in the 8th Hue Traditional Craft Festival season, far and near tourists.

The ceremony commemorating the patrons of all crafts is a traditional ritue to remember the merit of the ancestors, craft patrons who founded traditional craft villages in Vietnam, conserve traditional quintessence, pray for the development, peace and luck.

After the ceremony, a procession was held to honor artisans and traditional crafts. Artists and over 350 artisans from 62 craft villages, craft units joined in the event.

The procession started from Tu Tuong Park and stopped at Quoc Hoc Hue stage. Artisans and artists went across Trang Tien bridge, Tran Hung Dao street, Phu Xuan bridge, Le Loi street and Quoc hoc Hue stage. A large number of Hue locals and tourists attended the procession.
