On June 25th, 2022, the hot air balloon festival themed "Hue, the ancient capital from the sky" was co-organized by Tourism Department and Hexa Media Company. The Standing member of the provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, Head of Hue Festival 2022 Organizer Nguyen Thanh Binh attended the event.
Hue Festival 2022 digital map is a new function available on Hue-S, the mobile application developed by Thua Thien Hue Intelligent Operation Center.
On June 21th 2022, the organizer of Hue Festival 2022 and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) signed a sponsorship contract. By sponsoring VND 1 billion, VNPT becomes the bronze sponsor.
On June 16th, 2022, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province issued plan 224/KH-UBND. According to this document, the hot air balloon festival themed "Co do Hue nhin tu bau troi" (Hue, the ancient capital from the sky) will be held to celebrate Hue Festival 2022 week. The event is expected to create a unique tourism product and contribute to developing Hue into a typical festival city in Vietnam. Through this event, the province expects to advertise local tourism under the slogan "Hue - Diem den an toan va than thien" (Hue - a safe and friendly destination) and attract tourists as the pandemic is now under control.
As a side program of Hue Festival 2022, "Cultural color" street festival will be held at 4:30 PM from June 26th, 2022 to June 29th, 2022. The event aimed at introducing Hue cultural heritages and the culture of countries around the globe through exciting street parades of domestic and international art troupes.
On July 7th 2022, the organizer of Hue Festival 2022 and Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) signed a sponsorship contract at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province. Accordingly, Agribank sponsored VND 1 billion and became the bronze sponsor of Hue Festival 2022. The standing member of the provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province Nguyen Thanh Binh; the representatives of Hue Festival Center, relevant departments and agencies attended the ceremony.
On June 4th, 2022, Hue lotus festival 2022 themed "Sen - tinh hoa cua dat troi" (Lotus - the quintessence of earth and heaven) was organized at Tu Tuong park by Thua Thien Hue Tourism Department. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - the standing member of the provincial Party Committee, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province attended the event.
