(TTH Portals) - On September 28, 2024, Golden Sands Golf Resort was opened by BRG Group Joint Stock Company at Vinh Thanh commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province. The Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Pham Duc Tien, the head of the Inspection Commission of the provincial Party Committee Pham Thi Minh Hue; the head of the Internal Affairs Commission of the provincial Party Committee Dang Ngoc Tran, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai - the head of Public Propaganda and Education Commission of the provincial Party Committee; the standing member of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phan Quy Phuong; Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thua Thien Hue province Nguyen Thi Ai Van attended the ceremony. Former leaders of Thua Thien Hue province and leaders of the People’s Committee of Da Nang city also presented at the event.
According to the Chairwoman of BRG Group Nguyen Thi Nga, Golden Sands Golf Resort is believed to be the leading golf destination in Vietnam and the region as it is located by one of the most beautiful beaches in Thua Thien Hue province, only 20km to the east of Hue city. Golden Sands Golf Resort is expected to be a new high-quality tourism product beside current cultural and heritage tourism products.
Designed by the world leading designer Nicklaus Design, Golden Sands Golf Resort is up to 7.519 yards long. It is said to bring the most challenging golf experience as players have to take at least 10 more strokes compared to current golf course. BRG Group chairwoman Nguyen Thi Nga expects that Golden Sands Golf Resort to bring Thua Thien Hue province in particular and Central coast in general an international level golf course, attract domestic and foreign visitors, particularly golfers whose expenditure is higher than that of common visitors. In addition, this new high-quality tourism product will encourage visitors to stay in Thua Thien Hue longer to learn more about local culture, people, cuisine and world cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO.

Vice Chairman stated that developing golf infrastructure and tourism is one of the key orientations in Vietnam tourism development strategy to 2030 approved by the Prime Minister. This focus is a suitable and right policy. It is one of the priorities of the locality to develop tourism and service industry in local socio-economic development orientation.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee Phan Quy Phuong acknowledged efforts made by the investor, experts, employees, BRG and contractors to concentrate and overcome difficulties to ensure project progress and quality. The leader of Thua Thien Hue province praised departments, agencies and local authority for overcoming obstacles related to land procedure, investment, construction and environment.
Golden Sands Golf Resort is an international 36-hole golf course. There are auxiliary services, club house, technical facilities, villa and hotel. With the total funding of VND 3.164 billion, the project boasts the total area of 127,38 and is divided into 2 main parts i.e. the international 36-hole golf course, and villas. As planned, the project will attract about 1.040 overnight stay visitors.
Situated by the romantic beach about 20km away from Hue city center and 15km from Phu Bai International Airport, Golden Sands Golf Resort is an ideal destination in terms of scenery and accessibility.

Vice Chairman hoped that the project will effectively run, bring the best services to locals and visitors. Besides, the provincial leader kindly requested the investor to apply lessons learned, work responsibly, concentrate all resources, accelerate the progress of the 3rd and 4th stage regarding to hotel, resort, villa for golf business and other categories. Leaders of Thua Thien Hue province will create favorable condition to run this project effectively, direct relevant departments and localities to collaborate and accompany investors.
