It is a part of the business trip to meet Chinese businesses and introduce Thua Thien Hue province to Chinese localities in 2024. The leader representatives of the two provinces, over 80 businesses and groups in Shanghai city.

At the forum, Vice Chairman Phan Quy Phuong introduced businesses and investors potentials and investment opportunities in the province. The provincial leader showed Thua Thien Hue’s expectation of expanding cooperation with Chinese investors and businesses, particularly in building the infrastructure of economic zone, industrial parks, new urban area, pharmaceutical, biology, medical instrument, information technology, agriculture, textile, leather, relevant auxiliary sectors, food, electricity, electronics, paper, rubber and plastic, semiconductor chips and so forth. Incentives of Thua Thien Hue province and Vietnam Investment law will be applied to investment projects, for example making commitment to provide infrastructure support, providing local employee and employee training, sending the message that Thua Thien Hue is always ready and warmly welcome to investors.

On behalf of businesses, Gilimex Company kindly provided information regarding to investment environment, the infrastructure of key economic and industrial zones in Thua Thien Hue province. At the forum, leaders of Shanghai city’s businesses raised questions, showing the concern of Chinese localities on Thua Thien Hue province’s investment environment.

In the same morning, delegates visited and worked with the Consulate General of Vietnam to Shanghai city. At the meeting, the Consul General of Vietnam to Shanghai city received the delegation. The Consul General agreed with suggestions of the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu and affirmed to accelerate cooperation and investment among Chinese localities and Vietnamese localities in general and Thua Thien Hue province in particular. Also, Mr. Nguyen The Tung was ready to introduce the image, potentials and advantages of Thua Thien Hue province to businesses in Shanghai city, Zhejiang province; connect investors, organizations and companies wishing to eye market and cooperate with Thua Thien Hue province in the future.

After having finished activities in Shanghai city (from July 3 to July 4, 2024), delegates moved to Xia Men city (Fujian) to continue activities within the framework of the business trip to meet businesses and introduce Thua Thien Hue province in Chinese localities in 2024.
