Hue is the land of culture preserved from the Nguyen dynasty, bringing the ancient capital unique royal culture. Ru Cha is a primary mangrove forest located in Thuan Hoa village, Huong Phong commune, about 15km from Hue city center. It has been widely known as the only mangrove forest still can be found in Tam Giang - the largest lagoon in South East Asia.


Ru Cha mangrove forest and its wild beauty

Ru Cha mangrove forest covers the total area of 5 hectares. Once the name is heard, visitors immediately impress by its mysterious name. As explained by locals, “Ru” means forest while “Cha” indicates the plant accounted for more than 90% of this area.

Ru Cha mangrove forest attracts visitors by its mysterious beauty. They may choose to have a boat trip to discover the primary forest or enjoy songs performed by birds while walking on concrete road.

Wandering in Ru Cha mangrove forest, visitors will be lost in the natural symphony, the whispher of  the wind, color of leaves and the singing of birds.
