Address: 39 Nguyen Chi Dieu street, Dong Ba ward, Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province. Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac (the father of President Ho Chi Minh) worked as the Secretary in Ministry of Rites from 1906 to 1909.
Ministry of Rites was founded in Nham Hau ward in the 5th year of Emperor Gia Long's reign. Together with other 6 ministries located in Nham Hau ward and Tich Thien ward, Ministry of Rites was rebuilt in the 8th year of Emperor Gia Long's reign. Each Ministry has 5 offices of the following positions Minister, Advisor of the Left, Advisor of the Right, Deputy Minister of the Left and Deputy Minister of the Right. As durable materials were used during construction process, later Emperors only repaired and added auxiliary works to serve mandarin's daily activities.
At present, this historical relic no longer exists. The site where the office of the Minister of Ministry of Rites used to be located is 39 Nguyen Chi Dieu street, Dong Ba ward, Hue city.
