Location: Phuoc Tich ancient village, Phong Hoa commune, Phong Dien district
The festive day consists of 3 parts i.e. ceremony, festivities and sightseeing. They are opening ceremony, art performance, “Huong xua lang co” festive day, traditional craft products, “am thuc mien que” stall, sporting events (rowing, the 3rd marathon, mass sport), sightseeing programs, etc.
“Huong xua lang co” festive day is believed to honor cultural values, historic values, introduce and advertise Phong Dien and its people, create a joyful atmosphere in public and leave good impressions on far and near visitors. Also, it is expected to make contribution to effectively conduct Resolution 54-NQ/TW dated December 10, 2019 of the Politburo on building and developing Thua Thien Hue in 2030 and vision to 2045, Resolution 15-NQ/TU dated December 13, 2021 of the Party Committee of Thua Thien Hue province on developing Thua Thien Hue in 2025, vision to 2030; conserve and promote heritage values, cultural identity, feature culture, heritage, ecology, landscape, environmental friendliness and intelligent operation.
