Tuy Van Mount is located in the North East of Phu Loc district. It was formerly known as My Am Son and later renamed as Tuy Hoa Son by Emperor Minh Mang in 1825. Emperor Thieu Tri had the mount renamed as Tuy Van in 1841. There is an old shrine located on the top of Tuy Van Mount. Champa artifacts and the remains of a famous Champa tower on Linh Thai Mount were also found in this area.

While Lord Nguyen Phuc Tan dropped by Tuy Van mount, he was impressed by its beautiful scenery and decided to establish a small pagoda where locals can visit and pray for peace. Emperor Minh Mang then had the pagoda called Tuy Ba reconstructed. Under the reign of Emperor Minh Mang in 1837, the pagoda was renovated. Emperor Thieu Tri had the Mount renamed as Tuy Van in 1841.

Tuy Van Mount was mentioned as a landscape by Emperor Thieu Tri in a poem called Van Son. The Emperor also erected a stone stele by the pagoda on which the line "Linh Thai, Tuy Van he nhi quoc gia chi thang canh" (Linh Thai, Tuy Van, the two national landscapes" was carved. On Tuy Van Mount locates a three-storey tower called "Dieu Ngu". Standing on the second and third floor of the tower, visitors can obseve the entire Phu Loc district. In addition to the main pagoda located on the mount slope, there is another large pagoda at the base of the mountain where monks stay.

There is a stone stairway leading to "Dieu Ngu" tower. The way to this tower is surrounded with old pine trees and ancient shrines. On this way, visitors can hear the songs of birds and cicadidae in the air. The altitude of Tuy Van Mountain is 60m. Thanh Duyen, a pagoda built on Tuy Van Mount was recognized as a national cultural relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism.

Visitors may choose to take 49B national road to Thuan An beach, then cross Hoa Duan bridge to Vinh Hien townlet. Those traveling from Danang city may take national road 1A, then take national road 49B at the north of Phuoc Tuong pass (Loc Tri commune, Phu Loc district). After crossing Tu Hien bridge, visitors keep moving about 3km before reaching Tuy Van Mount.
