This is the place where President Ho Chi Minh stayed when following his father and elder brother to Hue the second time (1906 - 1909).
Appointed as "Thua bien Bo Le" (a position in Ministry of Rites), Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac moved to Hue capital with his two sons in May 1906. His family was allowed to live in the 19th house of "Day trai" on Dong Ba street, Hue Imperial City.
It was the place where Nguyen Sinh Cung (the early name of President Ho Chi Minh) studied and grew up. During this period, his personalities, moral values, patriotism and strong will were developed.
Each house in "Day trai" was 12m long, 4,5m wide and divided into two rooms. The brick tile-roofed house is constructed on the ground without pillars and ceiling. The behind kitchen is 2m wide and 3m long and divided into two parts for each family.
Since 1945, houses in "Day Trai" were reconstructed. The 19th house was not an exception.
At present, information regarding to "Day trai" house was available at the relic.
