(TTH Portals) - On June 27, 2024, “Cho que ngay hoi” was kicked off at Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge in response to Hue Festival 2024. The Standing member of the provincial Party Committee, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Thua Thien Hue province Phan Ngoc Tho; Vice Permanent Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Nguyen Quang Tuan; Vice Permanent Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province Nguyen Thanh Binh, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thua Thien Hue province Nguyen Nam Tien, leaders of departments, agencies and visitors attended the event.

Regularly held in response to Hue Festival, “Cho que ngay hoi” honors cultural features, exploits strengths of festivities, attracts visitors, accelerates socio-economic development and Huong Thuy town’s tourism.

There are also other festivities such as commercial fair, the display of typical rural industrial products, agricultural products, craft villages and OCOP products; Aodai performance, “bai choi” singing, “Net dep cho que” photo exhibition, Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge, etc.

Held from June 27 to June 30, 2024, “Cho que ngay hoi” 2024 is a cultural program in which visitors join in purchasing agricultural products, typical industrial and rural products; visit the rural area, national historical relics; enjoy rustic dishes; join in daily activities and agricultural production; enjoy performances of local residents.

It is also a chance for locals and visitors to gather together and exchange; accelerate socio-economic development in Thua Thien Hue province in general, local tourism in Huong Thuy town in particular; contribute to maintaining local cultural identity.
