The Ambassador of Cambodia to Vietnam, H.E. Mrs. Chea Kimtha expressed her pleasure to visit Hue and attend local distinctive festival for the first time. According to the Ambassador, this festival is an opportunity for her and members to learn more about Thua Thien Hue’s culture and its people.

H.E. Ambassador Chea Kimtha kindly informed the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong of socio-economic achievements that Cambodia had achieveved in recent years. The Ambassador believed that contribution made by Vietnam to prevent genocide helps Cambodia become an independent nation, develop and bring citizens a better life. Cambodian royal family would never forget the support of Vietnam, said the Ambassador of Cambodia to Vietnam.

Chairman Nguyen Van Phuong welcomed the Ambassador and delegation to Hue and Hue International Arts Festival Week; congratulated achievements that Cambodia has accomplished in the past time. The leader of Thua Thien Hue province hoped that the province and Cambodia would further cooperate in the coming time. Chairman Nguyen Van Phuong congratulated Ambassador Chea Kimtha and delegates to have a nice experience on this year festival.
