1. Population
In 2022, the total population of Thua Thien Hue province is 1.160.224 including
- Male: 578.223
- Female: 582.001
- Population density: 234,5 people/km2.
- Population distribution: 612.827 people living in city and 547.397 people living in rural areas.
2. Labor
The total number of labor aged > 15 years is 624.812 habitants including 300.047 females (48,02%) and 324.765 males (51,98%).
3. Some indicators on living standards
- Multi-dimensional poverty rate (%): 3,56 %
- Monthly average income per capita at current prices (Thousand Vietnamese Dong): 4.281 thousand dong
- Percentage of urban population provided with clean water by centralized water supply system (%): 100 %
