II. Position and functions
- Department of Tourism is a specialized agency under the supervision of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC); functioning as the state management agency on local tourism as regulated in law; performing tasks as assigned or authorized by the Provincial People’s Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
- Department of Tourism has legal status, its own seal and account, and is under the guidance and management on organization and personnel of the PPC as well as specialized guidance and inspection of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
