II. Position and functions:
- The Office of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) is a specialized agency which directly assists the PPC.
- The Office of the PPC is in charge of assisting the PPC to co-ordinate activities of all province-level departments and branches (generally called as departments), People's Committee of Hue City and districts; performing consultancy work and assisting the PPC and PPC Chairman to direct and manage local activities; ensuring material and technical conditions for activities of the PPC and PPC Chairman.
- Office of the PPC has legal status, its own seal and account at State Treasury.
