Thuy Lap is famous for agricultural products such as sweet potato, bean and chili pepper. For hundreds of years, the hamlet has also been known as the home of bamboo knitting craft. In addition to traditional cooking utensils, for example, bamboo colanders, other handicraft products are produced.
On the basis of local abundant materials and skilled labor force, Thuy Lap Bamboo Knitting Cooperatives was established on September 21st, 2010, marking a milestone for local traditional craft. Since its establishment, the cooperatives has attracted hundreds of locals and provided pretty high monthly income.

Thanks to centralized production and regularly-updated models, Thuy Lap products have appeared in domestic and foreign market. By creating jobs and providing locals with regular income, Thuy Lap bamboo knitting has confirmed its position as the traditional craft village of Quang Dien district.
